Customer Reviews

If you're reading this review, you've probably read some of the other $2 adapter reviews as well and like me were scared off by the horror stories of having to solder the wires in order for the adapter to work properly with the Xbox 360. This adapter does not have any of those issues. I have a 250HDD Xbox 360 S which I run HDMI to a projector 20 feet away. The Xbox itself is down under the screen near a stereo that I wanted to run the audio to. This cable was perfect to allow me to connect the audio to the stereo with analog red and white RCA to the stereo's RCA input. There was absolutely no hassle for this adapter. I just plugged everything in, turned on the Xbox, and it was working perfectly. The price is considerably more than the other knock offs but it won't break the bank and it will work like a charm.

I mostly use my 360 to play Rock Band, and I'd been using the HDMI out to send audio to my TV, from which it was sent to my 5.1 system. Audio latency was about 45ms. I got this, plugged directly into the 5.1 system, and latency went down literally to zero. It makes a WORLD of difference, especially if you're singing and want to get feedback. Absolutely worth the money.
